Categories: Andrew Daly
At the start of 2008, you could have made a killing via Ladbrokes if you had bet that Andrew Daly would become perhaps the most sought-after "MADtv" alum in motion pictures this year. Who, besides family members, close friends, and household pets, saw this one coming? Well, brethren, get ready for scoops on not one, not two, not three, but four movies that feature Mr. Daly. If your salivary glands are not already wet with anticipation, then you are either clinically dead or just really smart. Anyway, let us get this show -- rather, these shows -- on the road.

We begin with perhaps the most notable of the four films (at least in terms of theatrical release), The Informant, which is not scheduled to swarm into theaters until March 2009. The dramatic film's plot, based on a true story, involves a whistle blower (Matt Damon) who wears a wire and steadily builds a federal case against a major corporation that fixes the price of the food additive lysine. Price fixing and lysine? I smell Oscar! While The Informant may be the biggest of the Andrew Daly films that will be coming out, suffice it to say that Andrew's role in it seems to anything but big. In fact, from what we can gather (not much), his character does not even have the dignity of a name. (Ah, the post-"MADtv" plight of a third-tier cast member!) At any rate, if you want to read more about The Informant, then this article is sure to, uh, inform you. Keep some tomatoes in those buckets, folks; the bad jokes are just getting started.

Next, we catch up with Andrew as he thumbs through The Post Grad Survival Guide. As expected, his character, Lloyd Hastings, plays tenth banana in a plot (found here) that is straight out of the Bush era handbook:
"Eternal optimist Ryden Malby (Alexis Bledel) has the most brutal of wake-up calls when she graduates from college and can't find a job, forcing her back home to live with her oddball family. Frustrated and confused about how her life is supposed to turn out, she soon realizes that her longtime platonic best friend is the only one who makes everything in her crazy life make sense."
Will Andrew's character (not the "platonic best friend," we rightly assume) get more than three milliseconds of air time in Guide? Will movie theaters be able to contain the hordes of maniacal, gun-toting Andrew Daly fans who simply will not rest until they have witnessed the aforesaid three milliseconds of brilliance? The answers to these questions and more will be revealed some time in 2009, when the comedy film makes its highly anticipated debut.

The third of Andrew's cinematic wonders up for discussion is She's Out of My League. While I try to decide if this comedy/romance is my biopic or just a home movie that somehow found its way into director Jim Field Smith's grubby paws, read this plot description from hollywood.com:
"An airport security man meets a girl described as a perfect 10. However, his own lack of confidence and the suspicions of his friends and family begin to sabotage the relationship."
Again, to no one's amazement, Andrew's League character customarily lacks a name, let alone an indication of exactly how he factors into the plot. Still, if the movie's title and story resonate with you as much as they do with me, then you will be on the lookout for She's Out of My League as it hits theaters some time in 2008. If not, then I do not even know you.

Finally, as if your penis liquid or vaginal fluid is not already gushing over the aforementioned titles, we submit Tenure for your disapproval. Although we still cannot come up with the damn name for Andrew's Tenure character -- seriously, what gives? -- we at least know that of the four films mentioned in this post, Tenure is the one which will feature Andrew most prominently. Check out this hot-to-trot plot description:
"In Mike Million's Tenure, [Luke] Wilson will play a college professor who battles for tenure with a formidable colleague ([Gretchen] Mol) and competes for her affection with her blowhard boyfriend (Daly)." David Koechner also stars in the Blowtorch Entertainment film, shooting this month [April 2008] in Philadelphia. Paul Schiff, Tai Duncan and Brendan McDonald produce; and Kelly Rodriques, Richard Hull and Dominic Ianno executive produce."
Am I the only one who is struggling to picture Daly as a blowhard, or is there an implicit double-entendre that is somehow eluding me in that character description? Well, fortunately for us, we have the rest of the year to contemplate these matters; for Tenure will not (forgive me) blow into theaters until some time in 2009. If, by some miracle of self-restraint, you discover that you still have some tomatoes left in your baskets after all of these rotten jokes, then fire away -- I certainly have them coming.

With that deserved onslaught of red spheres and seeds, we wrap up this Andrew Daly quadruple-feature. Break your piggy banks; hunt couch change; turn tricks; auction off your souls; and humiliate yourselves for cash in any other ways you see fit. Faster than you can say, "'MTV Diary,'" these movies from the bespectacled "MADtv" alum will be crying out to you for your overly generous financial support. (They will haunt your dreams -- trust me on this.) Catch Andrew Daly's rising, tin foil-covered star if you can!

Despite being universally panned, the powers that be behind MADtv's Season 13 must have been doing something right, as the series has managed to attain 3 Emmy nominations this year. Granted, the categories it is nominated in are hardly recognizable to anybody not interested in lyrics, art direction or make-up, but for die hard fans of the series, seeing the words "Emmy" and "MADtv" in the same sentence is enough to turn even the biggest frown upside down. So without further adieu, here are the three categories that MADtv has been recognized for:
Outstanding Art Direction For A Variety, Music Or Nonfiction Programming

MADtv - Episode 1315 - FOX - Girl Group Company
Nicole Elespuru, Production Designer
James Yarnell, Production Designer
Daryn Reid Goodall, S.D.S.A., Set Decorator

Outstanding Makeup For A Multi-camera Series Or A Special (non-prosthetic)

MADtv - Episode 1308: With Kathy Griffin - FOX - Girl Group Company
Jennifer Aspinall , Department Head Makeup Artist
Heather Mages, Additional Makeup Artist
Christopher Burgoyne, Additional Makeup Artist
Ned Neidhardt, Additional Makeup Artist

Outstanding Original Music And Lyrics

MADtv - Song: 'Sad Fitty Cent' - FOX - Girl Group Company
Greg O'Connor, Music and Lyrics by
Jordan Peele, Music and Lyrics by
Jim Wise, Music and Lyrics by
Will the art direction of #1315 be relevant enough to beat out the likes of the 80th Annual Emmy's, the 50th Annual Grammy's and a random episode of Hell's Kitchen? Unlikely. Will the makeup for episode #1308 hide enough wrinkles on both Kathy Griffin AND Michael McDonald to beat out the likes of Dancing with the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance? Maybe. Will the lyrical verbosity of "Sad Fitty Cent" be poignant and moving enough to garner Jordan Peele an Emmy alongside his greatest collaborator, and birthday-sharing home-girl, Nicole Parker? I sure hope so.

Though they may not be huge achievements in the eyes of non-viewers, to us MADtv fans, any award is worth winning. While they may not be the categories we want our favorite show to be nominated for, any nomination is better than nothing at all, which is what most shows have, and will end up getting. So congrats once again, MADtv.
After months of blackmail both administered and received, we can at last reveal everything you could possibly want to know about Season 14 of "MADtv," at least before it debuts. All right, admittedly, we will not be reporting what Nicole Parker ate for breakfast this morning; nevertheless, with this update, rest assured that you will have all the Season 14 information with which any rational fan will be more than happy. Here, then, is your full scoop on the upcoming season, complete with brown chips which have not been conclusively identified as chocolate.

Let us begin by introducing you to our final addition to the Season 14 "MADtv" cast. According to this article, the fourth newbie for the upcoming season will be the lovely, versatile Erica Ash. Smile prettily for the camera, dear:

As is the case with Eric Price and Lauren Pritchard, Erica will be joining the "MADtv" cast as a featured player. According to her impressive resume, which can be found here, Erica's experience with televised sketch comedy does not actually begin with "MADtv." For two seasons, she has been a cast member on "The Big Gay Sketch Show," which, coincidentally, is directed by "MADtv" mainstay Amanda Bearse. Add to that stint her various appearances in theatrical productions and commercials, her numerous voiceovers for video games, and a list of special skills that makes most of us look downright boring by comparison; and Erica Ash may have just what it takes to survive on a show that has always prided itself on multifaceted cast members. Erica, here is hoping that you get to stick around for a while on FOX's late-night sketch comedy series.

In other news, what would a final Season 14 update be without one last surprise farewell? Fans of Jordan Peele's "MADtv" work will no doubt feel a sense of emptiness as the show's resident Morgan Freeman impersonator ends his five-year run as a cast member. Apparently, Jordan somehow managed to escape the rumored coercion by "MADtv" to squeeze a few more episodes out of its five-year players. Unfortunately, it is not known at this time whether he, Nicole Parker, and Keegan-Michael Key drew straws to determine who would get to leave after Season 13 or whether Quincy Jones simply went "eenie-meenie-miney-mo" to determine their fates. At any rate, Jordan, we at Planet MADtv hate to see you go; and we wish you the best of success in whatever showbiz endeavors you decide to pursue from this point on. Thanks for the many laughs!

Next, we can confirm that Season 14 of "MADtv" will be shot at the Sunset Bronson Studios, which are both the original location of the Warner Bros. Studios and the current home of CW affiliate KTLA, Channel 5, in Los Angeles, CA. Although we will obviously have to wait until the Season 14 debut, on September 13th, to see how these new facilities will work out for the cast, something tells me that most, if not all, of the series' diehard fans will no doubt wet themselves with glee over the sheer mention of the word studio. While Sunset Bronson Studios may not be the original "MADtv" home we all knew and loved for twelve years, I think it has to be considered a major step up from the Henry Fonda Music Box Theater. Unlike that almost roundly hated facility, Sunset Bronson will probably not inspire fans to wish all season long for a well-placed wrecking ball to find its way into the exterior walls. Enjoy your new and (we assume) vastly improved, home, you crazy Season 14 cast members, you!

Fittingly, we will conclude this "full scoop" update by reminding you of all the cast members who will be enjoying these new quarters during Season 14 of "MADtv," as well as providing you with a recap of those who will not. Established series regulars who will help provide the Season 14 fun are Crista Flanagan, Keegan-Michael Key, Bobby Lee, Arden Myrin, Nicole Parker, and Johnny Sanchez. Joining them will be new series regular Matt Braunger and three new featured players, Erica Ash, Eric Price, and Lauren Pritchard. Sadly, we have been forced at gunpoint to accept the departures of Season 13 featured players Daheli Hall, Anjelah Johnson, and Dan Oster; five-year veteran Jordan Peele; and the show's longest-running cast member ever, ten-year stalwart Michael McDonald. All in all, it will be very interesting to see how everything unfolds come September 13th. Can you handle the anticipation? I know I can. Season 14 of "MADtv," the world awaits.

Oh, listen to all of those moans and wails from disconsolate "MADtv" fans, their drooping chins scarred by rug burn. You poor things, has it really been two whole weeks since you received your last Season 14 update? Well, buck up, you sad, little groupies; for I have your precious update right here -- or at least half of an update. You will recall that we were still awaiting word on the fates of two established cast members. Through the magic of mathematical deduction, we can now reduce that number to one. Whose "MADtv" future or nonfuture has now been determined? If you and your greasy chicken bucket can part ways for a few seconds, then you may well discover the answer in the following paragraph.

The latest Season 14 update concerns Sister Revolution herself, Daheli Hall. Like all good "alphabetologies" of love, a "MADtv" cast member's tenure on the series will eventually reach the metaphorical Z. In other words, consider Season 13 Daheli's "moment of zed"; for the higher-ups have determined that she will not partake in the Season 14 "MADtv" experience. Even though I initially had high hopes for Daheli, I voiced them with the reservation that the show would have to find a way to use her gifts effectively. Oh, the gifts are definitely there, as any cursory gazes at her resume and standup comedy will show. In the end, though, these things do not always add up to the right formula for success on this particular sketch comedy series, no matter how one cares to define the elusive concept of success at this late, desperate stage. Daheli, we at Planet MADtv regret that the series did not work out for you; and we wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide to pursue in your post-"MADtv" career.

Through yet another masterful combination of magic and mathematical deduction, we can now safely report that all three Season 13 featured players have performed the old disappearing act on us, no doubt against their wills. Why would "MADtv" hire the three of them only to pink-slip the entire trio at season's end? Did they not perform up to the show's, ahem, "lofty" standards; or do the aforementioned higher-ups still fail to grasp the concept that evolution is a scientific theory, not a road map for hiring and firing new comedic talents before they even have a chance to catch their breath? Alas, though, three minus three is zero; and all we can do now is to hope that the Season 14 newbies can jump through the necessary fiery hoops, eat the necessary raw crustaceans, survive the necessary backroom office politics, and make the necessary cut for the fifteenth season that may or may not necessarily occur. When will all of this unnecessary (forgive me) madness end? Stay tuned to Planet MADtv for further updates!

Season 14 of "MADtv" continues to round into form like Louie Anderson at an all-you-can-eat buffet. While we continue to await confirmation on the remaining established cast members, we turn our attention to another new face. If you can remove the Twinkies from your oral orifices long enough, then put your chocolate-stained hands together for the latest passenger on the leaky "MADtv" vessel, Lauren Pritchard. While it is certainly a privilege to welcome Lauren aboard, her enthusiasm, as evidenced by this photo, could use a little work:

Seriously, though, from the article referenced by the above link, we gather that Lauren Pritchard and her pointed finger have been comedically trained at ComedySportz Los Angeles. Along with Eric Price, a product of the Milwaukee division of ComedySportz, and Frank Caeti, of ComedySportz Chicago fame, we can now count three recent "MADtv" cast members who either have represented or will be representing this unique troupe, which combines comedy improv with game competition. According to this information from the main ComedySportz website, the troupe has been around since 1984, curiously enough. With so many other great stomping grounds like iO, Groundlings, and Boom Chicago churning out "MADtv" cast members like milk shakes in the summertime, one can only wonder why it took so long for those involved with the series to consider ComedySportz a serious haven for new blood. At any rate, we can confirm that Lauren will kick off the fourteenth season of "MADtv" as a featured player. Whether she will factor into the season debut, airing September 13th, remains to be seen, as is the case with most fresh "MADtv" meat. (There is a bad joke somewhere in there about hanging the newbies in a meat locker so that they will not spoil, but I refuse to touch it.) Lauren, regardless of how your sojourn on the sketch comedy series play out, we at Planet MADtv wish you the best of luck in this endeavor. Just watch that finger -- rumor has it that network executives love to bite those things off.

With that gruesome thought, we shall call a fitting end to this Season 14 update. Do not believe for a second that I, the author of these season-oriented tomes, do not appreciate the irony that the show's shortest season to date seems to be responsible for the most updates. Welcome to the land of "MADtv," in which up is down; down is sideways; and the parallel lines are perpendicular to the tangents of square circles. Well, in the meantime, until our carrier cyber-pigeon flies in wearily with the latest scoops, remember to stay tuned to Planet MADtv for further updates!

You knew we would not keep you waiting too long for your next Season 14 "MADtv" update. Have you sufficiently recovered from all of the WWE-style smackdowns we have thrown at you so far? Well, even if you are still experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of the recent casting surprises, then I suggest that you pull yourself together quickly. The news item featured in this season update is what we in the business like to refer to as a doozie. Only the most strong-willed "MADtv" fans can withstand doozies, and anyone who is not sufficiently prepared to handle their brunt will be mercilessly decimated into billions of skeletal shards. Now that you have been amply warned, read past this paragraph at your own risk.

The doozie in question comes to you courtesy of everyone's favorite male underwear model and toothpaste taste taster, Bobby Lee, who has confirmed on his MySpace that he will in fact return to "MADtv" for Season 14. Are you still there, or has the mass exodus of viewers screaming in terror already begun? Oh, the humanity! Nonetheless, my vain hope is that we have prepared you in past news posts for this possibility. (The question of how one readies oneself for the advent of Armageddon is a valid one, though, I suppose.) As we hinted in our first season update, the possibility that Bobby would stick around for the upcoming season loomed large; thus, we are not exactly dropping a ton of bricks on top of your skull from out of nowhere. Even so, the decision to stay on the show contradicts his original announcement from October 2007 that he would leave after Season 13. Many initially speculated -- nay, prayed -- that Bobby's as-yet-untitled pilot, which was recently picked up by Comedy Central, would be incentive enough for his post-Season 13 "MADtv" exit. Well, my Bobby-bashing friends, it appears that the man will instead juggle time on the sketch comedy series with his duties for the Comedy Central pilot. Since we do not yet know whether this increased workload will mean fewer "MADtv" episodes for Mr. Lee next season, everyone would do well not to get his or her hopes up too high just yet. Naturally, ever the Bobby devotee, I will be counting the days till Season 14's debut, whereas most of the rest of you will be counting on simply a quick retraction of this news story. Hey, the man was nice enough to apologize for returning: "I'm coming back to mad tv for an 8th season. sorry." What more do you want? At any rate, here's hoping that nobody who reads this post will contract any immune system-destroying diseases and that Bobby Lee's eighth season on "MADtv" is a successful and endlessly hilarious one.

If you need time to rest before the next season update, then hit the hay now. Hey, did I not tell you that you were in for a doozie? Perhaps next time, you will believe me when I warn you of the lifelong consequences of these insidious surprises. Once you have recuperated to some meaningful degree, remember to stay tuned to Planet MADtv for further updates!

After the shocking news regarding old McDonald, do I dare ask if it is okay to hit you with another Season 14 "MADtv" update so soon? Just hold my hand, and I promise you that we will get through this difficult time together. While it will be nearly impossible for us to top that H-bomb from the last update, our bag of surprises is far from empty. When we left you last time, we were still awaiting confirmation on five established cast members; suffice it to say that we are now down to three. In "American Idol" lingo, one of the two cast members mentioned in this report is safely through to Season 14; the other is going home. Consider your agony no longer prolonged, for it is now time to reveal their fates.

How many diehard Johnny Sanchez fans do we have out there? Ah, I see the hands of two family members -- good, good. Well, your prayers have been answered; for your man will definitely be returning for Season 14. Seriously, though, Johnny began showing some real promise and even a little diversity toward the end of Season 13; so not all is lost. (Would he therefore be a "Johnny come lately"? I will take my beatings now, thank you.) At any rate, here's hoping that he can continue that winning streak next season. Whether he will remains to be seen; still, it might behoove us "MADtv" fans to remain optimistic until we see evidence to the contrary. Then again, it might not -- your call. Nevertheless, rest assured that Mr. Sanchez will have another full season to carve his "MADtv" niche; that is, if fourteen episodes can indeed be called a "full season." Johnny, despite the ribbing, we at Planet MADtv do wish you the best of luck with your second season.

Depending on your perspective, the following news on the aforementioned departing cast member may or may not be terribly shocking; however, I dare say that it will ruffle a few collars just the same. Ladies and gentlemen, I am dismayed to report to you that the unfortunate axe of doom swings in the direction of talented Season 13 featured player Dan Oster. Since there is only one appropriate response to this ousting, I hope that I am at liberty to speak for all of you Dan fans when I say, "Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!" Apparently, being the one featured player who was signed on for more than four Season 13 episodes does not count for much in the land of "MADtv." Would I sound overly bitter and whiny if I noted that those who begin as full-fledged cast members have an automatic edge over the featured folks, no matter how well the latter prove themselves? Even if you answered in the negative, then you will likely refute that claim anyway by agreeing that Dan seemed almost a shoo-in for full-time status next season. While it would not be fair to begrudge Johnny his Season 14 confirmation, one has to admit that the show's decision to send Danny Boy packing is a head-scratcher, the likes of which will no doubt make serious contemplators go bald. If we were keeping score in golf, then "MADtv" would have just racked up another quadruple bogey in a round already rife with them. (There is a "par for the course" reference there that is just dying to manifest itself.) Dan, we at Planet MADtv wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors; it's just a crying shame that the fourteenth season of FOX's Saturday night sketch comedy series will not factor among them.

Chew on these developments while you can, folks. Before you know it, we will be serving up another heaping platter of bewildering Season 14 information. If you can handle the bitter truth, then stay tuned to Planet MADtv for further updates!

Planet MADtv passengers, we thank you for your patience as you waited for the third "MADtv" Season 14 update. We apologize for the delay; and in the meantime, we hope you enjoyed the complimentary Cheez Whiz and soggy pretzels. For this update, you will be introduced to our first two new cast members for Season 14. Be gentle with them -- they seem quite funny; and the last thing we want to do is to chase them away unnecessarily. Unfortunately, as we welcome in new blood, we must also wave a tearful hanky in the direction of a departing cast member, the first such exit we are at liberty to report. Please fasten your seat belts, and return all stewardesses to the upright position. We have achieved our tumultuous liftoff, and your latest update starts now.

Let us begin by introducing you to the first of our two new guys, Chicago comedy veteran Matt Braunger. He looks a little something like this; in fact, he looks a lot something like this:

From Matt's official website, we learn that he is a suitably wacky individual with extensive training in theater, improvisation, and sketch comedy. All of these assets, particularly the wackiness, should obviously serve him well when he makes his Season 14 debut on "MADtv." In this article, Matt has even been kind enough to detail his auditions for the series:
"Yes, I did get hired as a cast member. I just found out two days ago right before I was about to go onstage at the Great American Comedy Festival in Nebraska. Would have jumped for joy, but am on crutches from hurting my knee (nothing serious). I auditioned several times, first for the casting people, then for the producers, then finally for the people at the network. They had me bring in several characters, then read scenes with other actors in the later auditions. I start in August, but will go in a week or two early to hang out with the writers and give them any input they want."
Now, who ever said that "MADtv" is not one big, happy family? Anyway, if you want to preview this promising newbie, then check out the numerous video clips of Matt that can be found on both this page from his website and this page from the Rooftop Comedy website. (Matt recently won "Best of Fest" honors at the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival.) Laugh hysterically as you watch Matt's video clips, and he will thank you. If you still cannot get enough of Matt after all of that fun, then perhaps his official MySpace will satisfy your insatiable Braunger thirst. After that, however, I don't know what to do for you, you stark-raving mad animal, you. For now, let us offer up a hearty Planet MADtv shout-out to Matt and hope that his "MADtv" stay is a long and successful one.

If you paid close enough attention to the previous article announcing Matt Braunger's "MADtv" hiring, then you already know the identity of the other new hire: Wisconsin's own Eric Price. Strike a pose, Eric:

Eric hails from Bay View, a Milwaukee neighborhood. He brings to "MADtv" a healthy improv background courtesy of ComedySportz. Although we do not have the same lovely "MADtv" audition story for Eric that we have for Matt, we can assume that the tryout for the sketch comedy series took place during one of his numerous routine trips to Los Angeles, CA. Perhaps Eric's greatest claim to fame at this early stage in his career is appearing not only on two epidoses of "Reno 911!" but also in the 2007 movie based on the series. In the meantime, if you would like to know more about Eric, then taking a gander at this 2005 article just might do you a world of good. Eric, we at Planet MADtv wish you the best of success at your new television home.

By the way, as is standard op at this early stage, we do not yet know whether Matt and Eric have been signed on as full-fledged repertory players or as featured players. Once we know, of course, we will pass on that information faster than Courtney Love in a Wendy's parking lot. Rest assured, however, that unlike the Courtney scenario, the distribution of information here is a hundred percent disease-free. Planet MADtv -- making a difference in our ever-devolving world!

Regrettably, Matt and Eric will have to experience their initiation on FOX's late-night sketch comedy series minus its veteran of ten years, Michael McDonald. Yes, after a decade of oddball characters and dry, sarcastic wit, the "MADtv" cast member with the longest run ever is finally bidding adios to the place he has called home since Season 4. Despite Michael's recent directorial efforts on the series and his numerous pronouncements that he loved working with the current cast, there was a feeling among many fans that something was not quite right. Either he was just not "clicking" with the cast in sketches, perhaps because of his age; or he had felt extreme disappointment over the show's drastic format change during Season 13. Still, even after taking these factors into consideration, many of the show's devotees may nonetheless be surprised by the news of Michael's departure. Then again, if you are a fan like me, then none of those things really matter right now; instead, you are waving that tearful hanky as you recall the numerous hilarious moments and undergarment exposures he has given us over the years. Although many would argue that Michael became stale during the later stages of his "MADtv" tenure, I would argue otherwise, at least for the most part. Even when he was at his worst, he still pooped out more golden eggs than chocolate ones; and to boot, he also left behind some memorable ice cream vapors. Why, I do not even want to know the person who does not love ice cream-flavored farts! Michael, from the bottom of my heart (not the heart of my bottom, despite the previous rhetoric), thank you for the years of laughs; for the great partnerships with Nicole Sullivan, Mo, and Stephnie; for the memorable characters; and by golly, for just being you. Here's hoping you will not be a stranger to the show that got you where you are today in showbiz. Four hundredth episode -- mark your calendar! For now, farewell and best of luck in your future endeavors; and we will see you down the road, sir.

All right, for the time being, that is all the print that is fit to news. (You know what I mean.) News on the remaining established cast members' fates, as well as information on any other new additions to the Season 14 cast, is certainly not too far away. You know what you must do: stay tuned to Planet MADtv for further updates!

UPDATE (06/25): We can now confirm that Matt Braunger will be a series regular for Season 14 and that Eric Price will begin his own "MADtv" journey as a featured player. And no, Michael McDonald is still not coming back.
